Nazarene Amictus|Spear of Longinus

Spear of Longinus is relative and according to ancient religious texts..

One of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance (λόγχη), and immediately there came out blood and water.
The Spear of Longinus collection is a fashion fiction inspired by the “Spear of Destiny” named after Saint Longinus; a blind or poor sighted Roman centurion who thrust the spear into Christ’s side at the crucifixion. Christian legend has it that some of Jesus’s blood fell upon his eyes and he regained sight. Upon this miracle Longinus believed in Jesus.
The intricate and lustrous upper garment is a reflection of the sight conditions of Longinus as a Roman centurion and a St. . The back of the garment is of a pitch black rich fabric to denote the blindness or darkness as well as the state at pre crucifixion. While the front of the garment is off a light golden and transparent fabric that gives visibility thus symbolic of regained sight and post crucifixion. The beauty or art behind the Spear of Longinus is magnificent.
