Nazarene Amictus | Proverbs 31

Proverbs 31 as titled is constructed to embody the  modern definition of an “ideal woman” who is an industrious generous wife, a benefactor (verse 20) and a wise teacher (verse 26)’.

This “benevolent garment ” was styled with such a lustrous texture of textile to show the radiance and energy of the woman’s work and cut in a voluminous way to express the mighty heart she carries as both wife and partner. This modern day Stola is similar in some sense as a description of a certain class of Women of ancient Israel, Persia, or in Hellenistic society and in today’s fashion era represents a fusion of the Ancient Greek with that of the Near East, Middle East, Northeast Africa and Southwest Asia.
